Notes

Notes let you favorite standout Narrova responses, add your own ideas, and keep fast navigation points in long conversations. Each Note is tied to a single response, summarized for scanning, and ready to seed future Storytelling work.

What Notes Capture

Every Note includes three layers of information:

  • Auto-generated title + summary for quick scanning.
  • Your additional notes where you can add Storybeats, Storypoints, next steps, or variations.
  • A direct jump back to the response so the Note behaves like a bookmark inside the thread.

NOTE

Notes are not automatic. You decide which responses are worth saving, so the list stays intentional and focused.

Where Notes Live

You can open Notes from three places:

  1. Narrova home (/narrova) - open the Notes tab to browse everything you have saved.
  2. Inside a conversation - choose Open Notes from the conversation menu to see Notes for the current thread.
  3. Slash command - type /notes in the input to open the Notes picker instantly.

Each view supports search, Active/Archived filtering, and quick navigation back to the source conversation.

Save a Response as a Note (Favorite It)

When Narrova gives you a response worth keeping:

  1. Hover the response.
  2. Select Save as note (the star icon).
  3. Narrova creates a Note, generates a title + summary, and adds it to your Notes list.

Clicking the star again opens the Note details so you can review, jump back, or add your own ideas.

TIP

Use Notes instead of copy-pasting. They preserve the response, keep it linked to the Story or Storyform, and make it easy to jump back into context later.

Notes Index on /narrova

The Notes tab on /narrova is the master index for your saved responses.

  • Active Notes show everything that is currently in circulation.
  • Archived Notes hide older material without deleting it.

Use Search to filter by titles, summaries, and your notes, and Load more to browse older entries.

Notes Actions (Dropdowns)

Every Note card in the index and the Notes picker includes the same action menu. Here is what each option does:

  • Open Note - opens the full Note details view, including the original response and your notes.
  • Jump to Conversation - opens the full conversation that contains the response.
  • Jump to Note - jumps directly to the saved response within the conversation.
  • Copy Link - copies a deep link to the Note so you can paste it elsewhere.
  • Archive Note - moves the Note out of Active lists and into Archived Notes.
  • Restore Note - moves an archived Note back to Active Notes.

Note Details View

Open Note Details any time you want the complete response:

  • Review the full response text in one place.
  • Add or update Additional Notes and save.
  • Jump back to the exact response or the full conversation.
  • Archive or restore the Note.
  • Start New to spin up a fresh conversation using the Note's summary and your notes as the opening prompt.

Notes behave like bookmarks for long threads:

  • Jump to Note takes you straight to the saved response.
  • Jump to Conversation opens the thread so you can read surrounding context.

This is the fastest way to move around a dense conversation without losing your place.

Start New Conversations from Notes

Use Notes to launch fresh threads without losing the idea:

  1. Open Note Details.
  2. Select Start New.
  3. Keep the same Story or Storyform context selected so Narrova stays aligned.

This keeps Narrative Efficiency high while carrying forward a vetted idea.

IMPORTANT

Notes are tied to the original response. Starting a new conversation keeps your Storyform context, but it does not automatically pull the entire old thread into the new one.

Use Copy Link to create a private deep link to a Note. Paste it into personal docs, task trackers, or other tools so you can jump back to the exact response later.

NOTE

Note links are private to your account. Anyone without access to your Narrova workspace will not be able to open them.

Archive and Restore Notes

Archiving is a reversible way to declutter the index without losing material. Archived Notes stay searchable and can be restored at any time.

NOTE

Conversation favorites and Notes are different. Favorites save an entire conversation; Notes capture a single response inside a conversation.
