All Synopses

All Synopses collects the generated Synopsis for every Moment and presents them as a clean, read-only narrative. It is the bridge between Plotting and a full treatment.

What you see

• Act tabs for Act One, Act Two (Signposts 2 and 3), Act Three (Act Four), and Entire Story.
• Moment cards with titles, Act labeling, and Synopsis content.
• Synopsis status messaging when a Moment has not been generated yet.

Where Synopses come from

Synopses are generated in Plotting from the Storybeats attached to each Moment. They are non-editable here by design so the view stays focused on the flow of the story.

To update a Synopsis:

1. Reorder Storybeats or adjust a Moment in Plotting.
2. Regenerate the Synopsis for that Moment.
3. Return to All Synopses to review the updated narrative.

Downloads

All Synopses supports two levels of exports:

• Top-of-page downloads for the selected Act or the Entire Story.
• Per-Moment downloads for the specific Synopsis shown on a card.

Markdown exports are best for editing or combining with other notes. PDF exports are ready to send as a concise treatment.

NOTE

If you do not see a Synopsis for a Moment, generate one in Plotting first. Writing only displays what has already been created.
